Digital Marketing Forum
If you want to hear some of the industry’s biggest movers
and shakers offer advice to small businesses on how to outsmart the big guys,
get in fast because tickets are selling now.
The 2016 Digital Marketing Forum will feature the head of
brand at Facebook, two extremely successful business owners and a renowned
brand strategist so you too can learn how to outperform the big players with
the help of digital strategies.
Held on September 16th at The Westin Hotel, Martin Place, Sydney,
the lunch panel discussion will feature Naomi Shepherd, Head of Brand Facebook
and Instagram, Australia & New Zealand; Justin Dry, Co-founder and joint
CEO at Vinomofo;  Kate Morris, Founder
and CEO at Adore Beauty and Dan Gregory, Founder and CEO at The Impossible
Institute.
The event will also launch the Sensis e-Business Report
2016, an annual report revealing how businesses and consumers are using
technology with business insights you won’t find anywhere else in Australia.
As head of brand at Facebook and Instagram, Naomi Shepherd
works with big brands to unlock the potential of Facebook and Instagram. This
gives her a rich insight of how big advertisers use both platforms, and can
therefore uncover how smaller businesses can compete successfully, without the
overheads of marketing departments, advertising agencies or the budgets that
exists at the big end of town.
As Co-founder and joint CEO at Vinomofo, Justin Dry, is the
man behind one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies. Launched in April
2011, Vinomofo has grown quickly and profitably to a run rate of over $50
million revenue, more than 450,000 members, and a team of 120.
Vinomofo won the ‘Fastest Growing Company’ at the Deloitte
Tech Fast 50 Awards 2013, ‘Online Business of the Year’ at the Australian
Startup Awards 2014, ‘Best Website’ at the SmartCompany Web Awards 2014, ‘Best
Startup’ at the SmartCompany Startup Awards 2014 and Online Retailer of the
Year 2015 at the ORIA’s.
Founder and CEO of Adore Beauty, Kate Morris, started Australia’s
first online beauty store in 1999 at the age of 21. Since then,
adorebeauty.com.au has brought in millions of visitors each year, and nabbed an
investment from retail superstar Woolworths.
When she launched, Kate relied on word-of-mouth, search engine
marketing and editorial promotion to raise awareness of the site – a strategy
she continues to this day.
Dan Gregory, Founder and CEO of The Impossible Institute,
Dan has transformed leading brands including Coca Cola, MasterCard, Nestle and
MTV. In a 20-year history as a thought leader in human behaviour, marketing,
and communications, Dan Gregory has worked with the biggest global brands and
won countless awards around the world for creativity, effectiveness and ROI.
His experience on the ABC’s Gruen Transfer and time spent in
the US and UK as a stand-up comedian bode well for an entertaining and
insightful presentation. With his experience and depth of knowledge there are
few topics Dan can’t bring his focus to.
