About the panelists:
Dave Calibey is a co-founder and principal of BigThunk, a 4 year old Internet marketing company located in West Hartford, CT. Prior to that Dave worked for years as an eBusiness and Marketing executive in financial services. Dave has a varied background as a developer, writer and designer. He’s had articles published in Marketing Profs, editorial cartoons published in The Hartford Courant, and a cartoon strip in The Daily Campus at UConn where he graduated with a degree in Accounting.
A second generation direct response marketer Mason Rabinowitz has always been fascinated by the way we use words and stories to grab people’s attention and move them to action. As the president of Word Mason Marketing he’s written high converting copy for everything from meditation courses to workout products to Singapore’s premier pick up artist. Mason is also a founder of RayGun V, a crowdfunding agency that has run successful six figure campaigns for clients including Stephanie Miller, Mike Malloy and the Anderson Ponty Band.
Jim Kieffer is Founder and Principal of Kieffer Consulting, a digital marketing agency focused the healthcare industry.  Jim has extensive experience working with big brands as well as entrepreneurs across multiple industries; clients include: Penn Medicine, The Hartford, The Street.com, Aetna, UMass Memorial Medical Center, Hartford Healthcare, Mystic Seaport, University of Connecticut Athletics and Girl Scouts of America. Prior to Kieffer Consulting, Jim has been a vital member of a number of respected organizations, including Evariant, Adams & Knight, Nerac and The Hartford.
